Overall great experience. Started with Nate knocking on my door after hail storms damaged most roofs in our neighborhood. He coordinated the claim with my insurance company and did all the heavy lifting. Wasn’t long afterwards we were picking out materials and the roof and gutter replacements were scheduled. Crews showed up as scheduled and did quality work. Whole process was essentially hassle free. Premier Roofing gets a high recommendation from me.Posted on GoogleOctober 1, 2026Premier did a great job replacing replacing and wrapping the fascia board on our house, as well as installing new vinyl siding and gutters. Erik was very efficient and professional while working with the insurance company in getting the job done! Highly recommend!Posted on GoogleAugust 26, 2026Posted on GoogleAugust 25, 2026I can’t say enough great things about Premier Roofing, and Nate Powers! My family had been struggling to get anywhere with my insurance company, and I was being ghosted by another company we’d initially intended to use. Then, one day I saw a Premier Roofing truck and thought to strike up a conversation. Best decision! Little did I know I was talking with the “Rockstar” Nate Powers. Not only did Nate give us the personal support we needed to help us make our choice, he also helped us work with the insurance company and get a fair payout. Once we had Premier Roofing on our side, the project took no more than a month to complete. If you’re in the market for a new roof, gutters, or any other service they provide, make sure you give Nate a call. I’m certain he won’t let you down. Great guy! Great service! Great Company! The crew was great!Posted on GoogleAugust 8, 2026I had a great experience with Premier Roofing. Colin happened to be in our neighborhood going door to door inspecting roofs and noticed that ours needed quite a bit of work. He recommended that we reach out to our homeowners insurance and took the time to explain everything to us, including the fact that some of the roofing materials from our original roof were discontinued. Colin was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the entire process. He was quick to come up with a plan and made what could have been a stressful situation feel much easier. The work was done well, and we were very happy with the results. I really appreciate Colin’s honesty, professionalism, and kindness. He was great to work with, and I would definitely recommend Premier Roofing!Posted on GoogleAugust 8, 2026I had a very positive experience with Premier Roofing Company and highly recommend them. We had hail damage in the spring but didn’t realize it until several weeks later when I noticed shingles falling in the yard. While I was trying to figure out what to do, Colin and Nate happened to be working in the neighborhood and stopped by. They thoroughly inspected the exterior of our house and helped me understand the damage and the insurance claim process. Colin guided me through the insurance inspection and, once the claim was approved, promptly scheduled the roof replacement and kept me informed every step of the way. The whole process was smooth and stress-free, thanks to Colin’s professionalism, responsiveness, and excellent communication. I couldn’t be happier with the service from Colin and the Premier Roofing team. A canvasser came to my home looking to give a quote wearing a shirt that stated Premier. He and I then had a verbal altercation which led to me calling this company by accident. The call center was extremely kind and patient with me as I described what happened. Later in the evening, the owner took time out of his night and called me to talk about it. The entire time he was awesome and making sure that his company was doing what was right. It turns out, another company is using a similar name and causing confusion for customer. Please make sure to call this Premier, they will do right by you every time.Posted on GoogleJune 9, 2026Premier Roofing & Renovation did a fantastic job on my roof. Keith messaged me after I posted in a local group looking for repairs for storm damage. He sent one of his employees out and they inspected the roof. The employee said they would provide an estimate later that day. After hearing nothing for 24 hours, we called back and were told “we’ll have an estimate for you after we enter your zip code in”. We never heard back from the company. Update: Keith reached out and explained the mistake which was computer-related and not human error. I appreciate that Keith took the time to contact me and explain the situation.Posted on GoogleJune 1, 2026I cant say enough about this Company. The other company was trying to high-pressure us into buying a new roof. Steve said, “that was ridiculous” and not needed because our home only had a single layer of shingles on it, which is repairable and was only 12 years old. We both felt very comfortable with him and his solution. We will definitely call him back when our roof needs replacing in 5 to 7 years. The second inspector came out and the insurance approved a full roof replacement after his inspection and new photos as evidence was taken of the severe damage. I was very pleased with the crew that came out they were very professional. They cleaned up any mass after themselves and they all were very very polite. Our shingles were quite worn from the last 18 years of the 3 tab shingles that were installed when the house was built. Sadly for our case, insurance did not cover the job but that was expected going into it after we had a number of other companies come out to quote us on our roof project. Premier came in with the lowest price and a great warranty package for a high quality product from Owens Corning. Initially we had planned to be home for the install for curiosity and also lack of our knowledge with how loud it would be. After the job schedule had to be shifted a bit due to weather we ended up being out of town for the install anyway. In the end we were glad to not be home to deal with the noise and install. I will say that premier's project scheduling software and contact information could be updated to allow a cleaner more transparent communication flow but thankfully for me one of the guys lives in our sub. Highly recommend both Premier Roofing and Dave Hall if you want quality work and a team that truly cares about their customers!Posted on GoogleSeptember 16, 2025If I could give this company 10 stars, I absolutely would! Trying to keep this short, but the bottom line is: Premium Roofing saved me thousands of dollars! I called them out for a consultation after several major storms, knowing our roof was old and likely damaged. David came out, took multiple photos, and showed us clear signs of weather damage. He was confident that our homeowner’s insurance would cover a full roof replacement. At first, the insurance company only approved repairs for about 12 shingles. That would’ve been the end of it for me — I was ready to accept the offer and start saving for a new roof. But not David and Premium Roofing. They didn’t back down. They fought for us — through multiple calls, dealing with different insurance adjusters and managers, over the course of several months. And guess what? They got the whole roof covered 100% (minus our deductible)! I’m beyond grateful because I would’ve been stuck paying out-of-pocket without their help and expertise. They knew exactly how to navigate the insurance process and advocate on our behalf. As for the actual roof — the crew was professional, respectful, and did an excellent job with cleanup. And the new roof looks absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend Premium Roofing. Don’t go through the insurance process alone — call them first!Posted on GoogleSeptember 16, 2025Caring Christian company, I’d recommend them to all who seek honest, hardworking professionals! I called Premier and spoke to Eric. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I don’t know what I would have done without him. He took care of everything from start to finish. I had my garage roof repaired and home roof replaced and Eric was there throughout. Their crew did an amazing job and did it in 1 day! I couldn’t be more satisfied that I decided to go with Premier!Posted on GoogleAugust 21, 2025We are extremely satisfied with our new roof and gutters thanks to Premier Roofing! Our roof sustained damage from a storm and we had a terrible leak stemming from our damaged roof. David came out to meeting with us within 2 hours of my call. He evaluated the damage by going on the roof and took pictures and sat with us to show where the damage was and recommended what needed to be done. He even came to meet with our insurance adjuster while going through inspection for the claim we made. We now have a beautiful new 50 year warrantied roof and we also had Premier install new gutters and leaf guards. We are so happy with the great job the Premier did on our home in Grosse Pointe. I highly recommend David Hall and the team from Premier Roofing and Renovations. I found them to be very helpful and informative through the entire process. Hopefully you won’t ever need a new roof. But, if you do please call Premier Roofing and ask for David Hall. David BudaiPosted on GoogleJune 6, 2025If I could I would give Premier Roofing and Renovations 10 stars out of 5. I would like to give a special thanks to Steve (Sales Manager) & Adam who started the process with Owens Corning to get me a new roof (after it was discovered a defect with the original shingles installed in 2017). The installation went very well and then Steve came out to ensure everything was completed and I was satisfied. He arranged for someone to come out & fix the few items that needed to be corrected & then Steve himself came out to fix something that I wasn't sure was necessary but he told me it was no problem and he wanted his customers to be 100% satisfied. I liked Premier when they originally installed a new roof for me in 2017 and they once again did a tremendous job last month with the new roof. They handled everything with Owens Corning and the Township. I would recommend Premier to anyone.Posted on GoogleJune 5, 2025Premier and their workers did a great job replacing the shingles on our roof. The quality of the product and work was excellent; I definitely recommend Premier!!Posted on GoogleMarch 27, 2025I recently had the great experience to work with Premier Roofing & Renovations. I got 3 quotes and Premier was significantly less expensive for the same scope of work. All 3 vendors quoted different roofing materials (GAF, CertainTeed and Owens Corning) all good brands but that was not the main factor. All vendors promised they were authorized at the highest level certification partners with their manufacturers. We bought the longest term transferable warranty from Owens Corning and Premier Roofing. They replaced some decking boards, tore off the old roof and re-roofed my home in just over one day (cold weather was a factor) and gutters were done the same day. 2 day job altogether. Great looking roof and cleanup was great. Would recommend Premier highly.+0Posted on GoogleMarch 21, 2025Every thing went really smooth. Eric came out looked at my roof and the attic explained the Owens corning system and a little about the company was here about 45 minutes got back to me within a day with an itemized list of items needed and had the best price. I had 2 other big companies come out both spent about 3 hours, thay where installing same system same warranty and both where more than double the price first guy gave me a price of 43k and that was just the house said if I did garage in a couple months I would save being a return customer figured it would cost 50k for a 1200 SQ ft house single story. Premier got here about 7:30 had house and garage done in about 8 hours, clean up was impressive found maybe 4 nails I had the roof put on 25 yrs ago and I found 3 coffee cans of nails these guy did a really nice job. After a few miscommunications Kayla stepped in, took ownership of the situation and made herself available to answer questions about the status of our roofing job. She did this because it was the right thing to do. She did not make any extra money meaning commissions. She did extra work for no extra pay. She cared about the happiness of the customer us and making sure the job was done correctly. Jessica also did extra duty. She worked with us to meet our deductible requirements. She also made herself available to make sure the job was done correctly without extra pay. When the day came to put the new roof on, the crew arrived at the time they said they would. They were the fastest crew I have ever seen. They worked hard and fast. They also cleaned up the mess that happened from stripping old shingles off the roof. they took care to make sure the doors and windows did not receive any damage from debris. They also used a heavy magnet to make sure all the nails were picked up from our lawn. I think my lawn was cleaner than when they came. Last year, I had to deal with a major storm that damaged a portion of the shingles on my roof. Dealing with insurance companies can be overwhelming, but the staff at Premier Roofing made it a smooth and positive experience. From the moment I contacted them, their team was dedicated and professional. It was a long and often frustrating process that took almost a year of going back and forth with the insurance company, but Premier Roofing was relentless in their efforts to secure the funds for the repair. The crew showed up early in the morning and worked all day until the job was finished…around 7:00p.m. It was a very long day for the crew but when they left, the roof was beautiful and not a scrap or nail was left behind. Premier took over and literally did everything for me. My part? I made a phone call to Premier Roofing and Renovations, selected the shingles and then the color. That's it. I asked for a quote online from Premier Roofing and Renovations and was contacted the next day by Rick Mickhail. He came out promptly to inspect our roof, and began the process of writing a claim with our home owners insurance to get the cost of the roof covered! It took a couple weeks, but in the end all we had to pay for was our deductible and insulation removal and replacement (which we have financed for a 12 month period, and didn’t need to pay out of pocket for immediately). Rick got our insurance to cover not only the cost of removal of two layers of old shingles and all the materials to replace, but also wood decking for the entire house as what we had up there was rotting and not up to code! To say his persistence saved us thousands of dollars is not an overstatement; we wouldn’t have been able to replace our roof at this time without his assistance in managing our claim with insurance. When it came time for install day, the crew was friendly, professional and thorough. The end product is clean and honestly, beautiful. Unfortunately Covid has stopped a lot of production on items so we are still waiting on The siding but it’s completely understandable. There was one issue discovered later on and they came back out promptly to take care of it. I'd recommend them.Posted on GoogleApril 4, 2019My chimney seal was leaking. I called Premier. I didn’t like that I I had to leave a message because I think all businesses should answer their phones but I received a call back a few days later. I had already called other companies for estimates and had honestly forgotten I called Premier. The woman who called was very friendly and said she could have someone come out same day for a free estimate. I said ok. John Harrison showed up right on time. He was very friendly and professional. He got right up on the roof and checked the problem. He didn’t try to up sell me which was awesome. He left to get materials and had the reseal of the chimney done quickly. It was a tad pricy ( although I’m not very familiar with roofing costs to be honest) but less than the “minimum” charge other companies charge. So, overall I was very happy. I only gave 4 stars because I feel companies should answer their phones. I would recommend this company.Posted on GoogleJanuary 30, 2019We contacted premiere because one of our customers had requested their need for a roofing contractor. Thank you so much.Posted on GoogleJune 23, 2018Posted on GoogleMay 3, 2018We had another company quote our roofing job but after discussing the high cost of replacing our roof we decided to call Premier Roofing and Renovations for a second quote. Ben came out the next morning and really took his time looking over our roof. He actually climbed up there to check it out which the other company did not do. He quoted us a more than fair price and we agreed to use his company. From beginning to end we were impressed with Steven and his team they were like a well oiled machine. The efficiency of his crew was amazing and they were extremely polite. When the job was finished they were very meticulous with the cleanup. We will definitely recommend Premier to anyone in need of a roof and plan to call on them for future renovations.Posted on GoogleFebruary 8, 2018Amazing company!!! I highly recommend Premier Roofing for all roofing repairs. The owner, Keith quickly responded to my roofing needs and sent out a technician within an hour . The two gentleman who repaired my roof, John and Dennis were friendly, professional and knowledge. Great companyPosted on FacebookNovember 6, 2025We recently had our roof replaced by Premier Roofing, and while the final result looks great, the overall experience left much to be desired. From the beginning, the salesman made several promises about what we could expect during the process, none of which were fulfilled. Unfortunately, Michigan's unpredictable weather struck during the project, and it poured while the shingles were off our garage. This led to damage to our garage ceiling and the garage door opener, which had to be replaced. While the team was apologetic and assured us they would take care of everything, the repair work on the garage ceiling was subpar. The drywall tape is already bubbling, and the paint job looks rushed and unfinished. It's disappointing to see such poor craftsmanship after being told things would be handled properly. It also took nearly two months after the roof was installed for someone to come by and pick up the remaining materials and collect the final payment. During that visit, the gentleman took note of our concerns and poor repair work and assured us the owner would be in touch to address the issues. That was five weeks ago, and we haven't heard a word since. At the end of the day, it feels like once they got paid, customer experience no longer mattered. If you're considering Premier Roofing, be aware: while the roof may look good, the process and follow-through might leave you frustrated and disappointed.Posted on FacebookSeptember 16, 2025If I could give this company 10 stars, I absolutely would! Don’t go through the insurance process alone — call them first!Posted on FacebookAugust 14, 2025Everybody has been so professional and kind throughout the process, you can tell they really value their work. We are extremely satisfied with our new roof and gutters! 😁Posted on FacebookOctober 18, 2023Premier Roofing and Renovations replaced my roof and gutter system, damaged by hail, and did an excellent job on both fronts. They helped us with good suggestions and completed the job with quality and on time. Kenneth Laubert and Adam Moore, my interfaces at Premier and who managed the job, were very polite, professional and responsive. I was extremely satisfied with the final result, how they interfaced with my insurance company and how the job was done. I would also like to make a special comment about the contractor they hired for the gutter job, Brandon Wichtner and his wife Brandy, from Platinum Gutters. They were absolutely fantastic and deserve a special thanks for being so nice and for the awesome job they did on my gutters. Thanks for the excellent service!Posted on FacebookJune 1, 2023They do great work and are super friendly.Posted on FacebookJanuary 20, 2023I am so lucky to meet an expert account manager like Mrs. EVELYN JOSHUA She is so reliable, trustworthy, and very honest. From Mike , Justin, Brian and Frank to the whole Roofing crew. Justin did an awesome job rebuilding our awning which is part of our roof it was completely rotting and getting ready to collapse and looks amazing now! The flat roof in the awning needed replacing which Brian and Frank took care of and it looks absolutely amazing! The whole roofing on our house and garage is also a place in the roofing crew did absolutely want to go on that as well. Now our siding on the garage is being replaced which Brian and Frank are doing and it looks amazing! With Brian suggestion of using white on the corners and around the garage to accent the dark gray we picked it looks absolutely gorgeous! Next will be wrapping of our windows and the metal around our house and our gutters. Everything has gone extremely smooth considering the fact that Covid has shut down a lot of places in factories. Mike worked extra hard to find a custom color I wanted for my garage which I shouldn’t of had till spring and he was able to get to us a few months early by checking all the warehouses. They went above and beyond for us which I’m very pleased with so far. I’ll share more photos as the Work is finished.Posted on FacebookNovember 11, 2020A big shout out to Keith and his fantastic crew at Premier Roofing and Renovations. THANK YOU! I LOVE my new roof. Keith and his Team made my first time getting through a roof replacement a smooth process. Premier is an expert in dealing with insurance claims and although that route didn’t work for me (not because Premier wasn’t capable – it’s just that I had crappy insurance!!!) - Premier didn’t leave me hanging at that point but instead worked with me to make sure that my roofing needs were all addressed. It was very clear from the beginning of this project to the conclusion that this was a 5 Star experience. Premier delivered what was promised and then some. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly, in constant contact, and knowledgeable; I knew what was going on every step of the way & felt comfortable, which was especially important with this being my first really big/expensive home improvement. They had to delay starting a couple days because of the weather which is totally understandable; I was immediately notified & they even had crew here dropping off equipment Sunday evening to be prepared to start first thing Monday. The crew was efficient, courteous, & CLEAN! My yard looked exactly as it did before they started & my roof looks great! Reviews & Service FAQ
What makes Premier Roofing different from other Michigan roofers?
We are an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, a distinction held by only the top 1% of roofers. This allows us to offer exclusive 50-year non-prorated warranties that standard contractors cannot provide.
Our customers frequently highlight our communication and the fact that we treat every home like it’s our own—a value rooted in our family-operated mission.
Pro Tip: When comparing quotes, always check for “Platinum” or “Master Elite” certifications. These ensure the manufacturer backs the contractor’s workmanship.
Can I trust the cleanup after a full roof or siding replacement?
We use a “No-Mess, No-Stress” cleanup process, which includes high-powered magnetic sweeps to collect every stray nail and specialized property protection (tarps and boards) to safeguard your landscaping.
The most common concern homeowners have is finding nails in their driveway or flowerbeds. Our Reviews consistently praise our crews for leaving the job site cleaner than they found it.
Pro Tip: Ask your project manager about our “Equipter” debris management system, which catches old shingles before they ever hit your lawn.
How does Premier handle insurance claims for storm and hail damage?
We provide full insurance restoration support. We meet directly with your insurance adjuster on-site to advocate for you, ensuring every bit of wind or hail damage is documented so you get the full coverage you deserve.
Navigating insurance is the most stressful part of a roof replacement. Our team handles the documentation and technical details so you only have to worry about picking your shingle color.
Pro Tip: If you suspect storm damage, call us for a free inspection before you call your insurance company. This prevents a “no-pay” claim from appearing on your record if the damage is minor.
